Universal Pressure Strap
The Universal Pressure Strap has been developed by ASD Technologies, Advanced Sensor Design. ASD has developed a measurement process that allows for the measurement of pressure inside a pipe or vessel without having to penetrate the pipe or vessel. The Universal Pressure Strap does exactly that. This is of great benefit in the oil and gas upstream market. The Universal Pressure Strap allows for faster rig up and calibration of the pressure sensor. This outstanding product has a lower installation cost, lower total cost of ownership, and increased safety and environmental protection for the user.
The Universal Pressure Strap uses proprietary, calculations and a simple mechanical design to measure pressure inside of a pipe or vessel without having to penetrate the pipe as traditional pressure transducers have to.
This Universal Pressure Strap will make current pressure transducers used in the industrial pressure sensor markets, such as drilling, cementing, acidizing and the fracking business almost obsolete.
Our initial focus is on the upstream oil and gas market and industrial pressure transducer market. In particular the oil field service companies involved in drilling, cementing, fracturing, and acidizing services will benefit dramatically by using our Universal Pressure Strap. The initial focus will be all applications that require the use of a weco hammer union style pressure transducer on the standpipe. The subsequent industrial markets for this product will be enormous is practically endless.
